Sheehy DeGroot graduated from St. Vincent
College with a BA in Communications and received her MS in Exercise Physiology
from the University of Pittsburgh.The inspiration for her first children’s book comes from her own
daughter. This heartwarming story was first told on the back porch of the
family home on the beautiful Isle of Palms in South Carolina. It is a
story of kindness, sharing, and the beautiful nature of the Lowcountry.
